Many years ago, I had a dream. In my dream, the "Great Spirit" showed me that this Mother Earth is very much like a Medicine Wheel. It is a mirror in which everything is reflected. He said, "Walks Alone, the universe is a mirror of the people, and each person is a mirror to every other person. Any idea, person or object can be a Medicine Wheel, a mirror for man. Now you must go out and find your place in this universe, and find the way to share the talents I have given you.
"Walks Alone Gallery" which comprises this Internet Web site, and its parent company, "Feathers Gallery," are the results of that vision which "Walks Alone" experienced some 20 years ago.
"Feathers Gallery" itself is located in Woodland Park, Colorado, and it is the exclusive source for the artwork of "Walks Alone With Many Friends," who is also known as Jon Zimmer. He has been told that there is an absolute and "downright spiritual nature" reflected in his works, which include bronze sculptures, pencil drawings, watercolor and acrylic paintings, as well as authentic representations of Native American crafts and authentically decorated buffalo skulls. Additionally, the gallery features a large selection of "dead pawn" Indian jewelry and artifacts that he has collected for decades.
